Afghanistan have announced a wide-ranging home programme in the United Arab Emirates involving Bangladesh and Zimbabwe across October and November.
The schedule begins with a one-off Test between Afghanistan and Bangladesh from October 9 to 13. All three teams will then take part in an ODI tri-series from October 17 to 23.
Zimbabwe and Bangladesh meet in the opening ODI on October 17, followed by Zimbabwe against Afghanistan on October 19. Afghanistan then face Bangladesh on October 21, with the top two sides advancing to the final on October 23.
The programme continues with additional bilateral cricket against Zimbabwe, including T20Is and a two-Test series.
Hosting multiple formats in one window gives Afghanistan a rare block of sustained international cricket. It also creates useful preparation opportunities across formats rather than isolating the side in short white-ball series.
